So, finally it’s my kid, and I get to revisit bus safety for my kid. I’ve told our customers for years that I would travel with Charter Bus Group, without hesitation. I still stand behind that statement, and while my kids have ridden on buses with Charity and I, we’ve not yet sent them on one of our own trips…as a guest. So with Saddleback Community Church setting up to head out this weekend on the 5-7 grade trip, my oldest daughter (10 yrs old) is flying the coupe, via a Charter Bus Group bus, with our customer Saddleback Church.
I’m glad it’s us. Our 10 year old is in better hands with Charter bus Group, who considers literally, “Bus Safety for My Kid”. It is my kid…now more than ever. And it matters.
Handpicking our partners, there are times we run out of qualified providers, and inventory gets low and we might even say “no, can’t take your trip”. Why, because if we can’t do it right, we won’t do it. We pick the right partners, who have the required safety record, operating standards, and customer satisfaction ratings that we maintain.
We get this question all the time. The answer is “maybe”. It’s not a California requirement, but in the last 3 years, the newer coaches come standard with seat belts. The safety rating, driver competence and size of the coach make it less of an issue.
Yep, without a doubt. They care and are qualified. Each of our drivers and buses get a survey response to their performance after the trip, that are reviewed by our team, and their direct managers.
Plus, Drivers who serve us and directly you have a state specific commercial bus driver’s license. In addition many times they carry a SPAB (Student Pupil Activity Bus) Certificate….required for school groups. What that means is they are either School Bus drivers or SPAB drivers; that equals background checks, more regular health checks, and the equipment they’ll be driving has also been certified by the CHP for stringent safety standards.
Our buses carry chains. And if we send a bus to a destination, it is a requirement that that driver has driven in those same conditions, received ongoing safety training, and demonstrated proficiency in the same environment we serve you.
Look, if I didn’t believe in what we do before (which I did), I for sure do now. We’ve always been diligent in pursuing excellence and safety as a goal. Now my kids on those buses, in the coming year, there will be 2 more of my girls on our buses. As we serve 72% of the Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego churches with 500 or more members chances are you’ll be having your kid on one of our buses too.
Charter Bus Group is, in my Humble AND Biased opinion the best place you can place your trust in transportation for your kid, or the people in your group…adult or kids. We’re here to serve you and make sure your people get there comfortably and safely.
I know my daughters will, and I look forward to serving your people.
